http://www.starfall.com - This is a free public service to assist children in reading with the support of phonics instruction. The phonics program is written for preschool, kindergarten, first and second grade students and English language learners. Starfall is an educational alternative to other entertainment choices for children.

We have subscribed to an online e-book library for students called TumbleBooks. Students can view books at school or home. 
About the TumbleBookLibrary: The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) TumblePuzzles, and TumbleQuizzes, as well as TumbleResources for teachers. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format. |

Dear Darnall Families,
Welcome to a new school year at Darnall Charter School! As a charter school, we focus on teaching the California Standards in developmentally appropriate ways. We stimulate growth in all areas including social, emotional and academic. As a charter school, we also have more freedom than a traditional school would have to implement curriculum and spend our school finances in order to support student success. Decisions are made through our Instructional Governance Council, and our Darnall Board. |

Como escuela charter (autónoma), nos enfocamos en la enseñanza de las Normas de California en formas apropiadas de desarrollo. Estimulamos el crecimiento en todas las áreas, incluyendo el social, emocional y académico. Como escuela autónoma, tenemos también más libertad que la que una escuela tradicional tendría para implementar programas de educación y usar nuestro presupuesto escolar para apoyar el éxito de nuestros alumnos.
